Mid century fiberglass "Elephant" stools, in the style of Sori Yanagi. Stackable stools in blue, yellow and white with heavily distressed patina. No maker marks observed. Sourced in Mexico City.
The Elephant Stool was designed by Yanagi in 1954. Originals were produced by Kotobuki Seating Company in Tokyo, Japan. A cream model is in the MoMA online collection.
