Tubular 60s dining table and four chairs by Gae Aulenti for Poltronova. The steel is sandblasted and acrylic coated, the tabletop is glass and the seats are perforated. The dining set is part of the garden furniture collection "Locus Solus" designed in 1964. The full collection features a tubular armchair, adjustable lamp, sofa, sun lounger, bench, and dining set.

Aulenti (1927-2012) was a renowned Italian architect and product designer with a knack for exhibition design. Aulenti’s famed works reflect her early move to Milan and immersion in the Neoliberty movement. In the industrial design sector, she has worked with Poltronova, Zanotta, Knoll, Kartell, and Fontana Arte. Aulenti’s Table with Wheels (model 2652) for Fontana Arte has been on display in multiple exhibitions at the MoMA.
